I'm Emma and I can't wait to meet you – I'm a Mum to two little boys, Rowan and Oliver. My boys are the light and love of my life. I married my high-school-sweetheart and followed his military career all over the world. We've fallen in love with the Lowcountry and put roots down in Savannah. I've been a Flower Child most of my life. At fifteen I started working in a local floral shop in New Hampshire, washing buckets and sweeping floors. They say when you find something you love, let it go and see if it comes back to you -- well, I tried every other career there is while moving from duty station to duty station -- and I love, like really love, flowers. This is exactly where I’m meant to be and I’m simply happy to be here.

We are a woman-owned, veteran-owned family business

Emma and her husband Kyle (AKA Mr. Grace and Thorn) work in their home based studio full time to bring garden inspired florals to the Lowcountry.

Grace and Thorn gives each client the opportunity to donate their flowers after their event to be redesigned and delivered for others to enjoy. The Grace and Thorn Flower Fairies bring blooms to local retirement homes, healthcare facilities and hospitals, schools and nonprofits in the greater Savannah area. We also deliver bouquets to nominated individuals. Nominate yourself, a friend, a stranger. Someone who could use a surprise pick-me-up, an act of kindness. Know that the Flower Fairies don't vet the recipients, fairies trust any flowers will be appreciated no matter where they go. Utilizing the Flower Fairy project is free and encouraged. Grace and Thorn breaks down the event flowers, creates bouquets and delivers them as a non-profit service, donated time to spread happiness, beauty and light.

At Grace and Thorn, we truly believe that everyone deserves flowers. Event flowers are designed for a single day; fresh flowers last longer than that.

The Flower Fairy Project

Inspired by Emma's English grandmother Susan, who talked of flower fairies -The kindest, most graceful soul who is very missed {1945-2015}

Their work is pure art. You can see the love and care they have for every single thing they put together from boutonnières to large floral installations. Don’t miss what they have to offer.

"Emma's communication, her style, her proposals, her positive attitude, her love, her grace puts Grace & Thorn above the rest."
